Yesterday Navy Seal sharp shooters killed the three Somali pirates holding the captain of the Mersk Alabama with only three bullets. I don’t know what a sharp shooter’s bullet costs but I guess about $15 to $20 each. If so, those three bullets were the most cost effective items ever bought by our military. My congratulations to Mr. Obama for authorizing the killing. I admit I did not think Mr. Obama had the stones to do what was necessary to protect American citizens.

RIGHT ON

Today an English Member of Parliament, Daniel Hannon, speaking to the liberal English Prime Minister Gordon Brown: “Mr. Brown, you cannot spend your way out of a recession or borrow your way out of debt.” This is directly applicable to Obama and his new budget proposal. Too bad no one in our US congress has the stones to say this to him.

If it moves – Tax it. If it continues to move – Regulate it. If it stops moving – Subsidize it. If it gets too big to fail – Bail it out. There is little doubt we are being governed by IDIOTS!! Wake-up.

Fair Tax – NOT!

Yesterday the house passed a bill taxing the AIG bonuses at a 90% rate. This is another example of the government using the tax code to punish (or reward) persons or groups they don’t (or do) like instead of for FUNDING vital public projects. This is why the “Fair Tax” will never be implemented in our or our children’s lifetime. Among other things the tax code is used to get politicians re-elected. The fair tax cannot do that. IDIOTS!!
